Biography:
e was born on February 5, 1966 in the Zolotonosha city of Cherkasy region of the Ukrainian SSR.
During 1973-1980, he studied at secondary school No. 1 in the city of Zolotonosha city.
During 1980-1983, he studied at the Republican Special School of Physics and Mathematics at the T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv Order of Lenin State University.
During 1883-1988, he studied at the Radiophysics Faculty of the T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv Order of Lenin and the Order of the October Revolution State University, majoring in radiophysics and electronics.
Employee of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From August 1988 he worked as an engineer of the space geodynamics department of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, from April 1989 - an engineer of the II category, from the end of June 1993 - an engineer of the I category, and from December 1995 - a scientific employee of the department.
From 1989 to 1993, he studied at the correspondence postgraduate course of the Faculty of Radiophysics of T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv University.
From September 1993, he worked in Poland for 100 days on a business trip to work on a special project, and from January 3 to April 3, 1994.
From July to December 1994, he worked part-time as a translator of the 1st category in the editorial department of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In 1995, he defended his PhD thesis "Dipole and exchange spin waves in anisotropic inhomogeneous epitaxial ferrite films" at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, majoring in "radio physics".
In 1988-1991, he took part in observations on radio telescopes of the Crimea-Pushchino-on-Oke interferometer.
Since 1991, he has been actively working on the topic of using satellite observations of the GPS/NAVSTAR radio navigation satellite system for geodynamic research at both global and regional scales for high-precision determination of geocentric coordinates of ground points and construction of the Earth's coordinate system. He performed the duties of the responsible executor and realized the practical organization of GPS companies in Ukraine under the projects GIG'91, EUREF-POL'92, GEODUK'93, GEODUK'95, REKA'93, REKA'95, etc.
At the end of 1998, he resigned from the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In 1999, on the initiative of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, within the framework of the theme "Orientation" of the State program "Creation and development of the state service of uniform time and reference frequencies", permanently operating GPS-stations were created in Kyiv, Uzhhorod and Yevpatoria. The main executors of the project were J.S. Yatskiv, I.Yu. Hayovych, O.O. Pace.
