Biography:
He was born January 17, 1949 in the Birlivka village of Drabiv district of the Cherkasy region of the Ukrainian SSR.
He graduated in 1972 from the T. G. Shevchenko Kyiv Order of Lenin State Universityy, specializing in "physics" (specialization "astronomy").
Since 1969 he has been working at the Kiev University. The carer ddrabin of the scientist is as follows: laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, younger researcher, head of the laboratory, head of the space instrumentation sector, director of the Engineering Center "Geocosmos", senior researcher, co-director of science and technology of the National Antarctic Scientific Center of the Ministry of Education and Science Of Ukraine.
Since 1982 he has been working at the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics of the Kyivan Order of Lenin at the TG Shevchenko State University with the creation of an artificial polar beam within the framework of the Geocosmos SLL.
In 1983 he defended his Ph.D. thesis "Features of the flash activity of comets".
In 2003 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Active and passive methods and devices for monitoring the aerospace, bio- and lithosphere of the Earth" on the specialty "01.04.01 - Physics, Instruments, Elements and Systems". The work is performed at the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University and is protected at the Odessa National Polytechnic University.
Areas of scientific research include the physics of comets, space instrumentation, centers of deep-focus earthquakes, global climate, Antarctic research, physics of the Earth's core. He was awarded the Personal thanks to the President of Ukraine, Personal gratitude of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, the breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "For Scientific Achievements". This is the author and co-author of 5 monographs.
